Low level bath Installation In Llanelli

Our customer in Llanelli contacted us because her mother was experiencing difficulty getting into her standard height bath and wanted to know what accessible options were available to overcome her challenge. We made an appointment to survey the bathroom, demonstrate and advise some solutions. We all decided that the ideal answer was to install a low level bath manufactured with a bath lip entry threshold lowered by 6 inches.

While conducting the survey, the customer decided that they also wanted a full suite of matching sanitary ware including a sink with vanity unit, a toilet with a concealed cistern and to update the wall cladding with a more contemporary tile design.

On the first day of the installation the old bathroom suite was decommissioned and removed most notably the old bath, toilet, sink, wall cladding, radiator and old floor tiles.

Our customer decided upon a white quartz tile to brighten the bathroom because there was only one small window providing minimal natural lighting. We generally advise clients to exchange standard lighting with white light in bathrooms were light is at a minimum. This helps to transform the overall illumination and lighten the space.

After the new sanitary ware was installed and the new tiles laid, we decorated the walls and ceiling with shiny white paint, detailing and sealing as we went along. The final task we undertake in all accessible bathroom installations, is to determine the perfect tailored position to fix the grab rails for the client, because everyone’s anatomy, limb length and flexibility is unique.

The entire low level bath installation with matching suite and interior decoration was completed in just 7 working days from beginning to end.

Our customer was so delighted with the results they made the decision to commission us to adapt the bedroom ensuite in to a wet room and renovate the downstairs cloakroom.
