NHS Wales Wet Room Shower Project
We were approached by NHS Wales to undertake work on a wet room shower project. This initially involved removing the existing wet room and breathing new life into it with a complete transformation providing it with a more contemporary feel.
This required us to fit a new shower dec, dressing the walls with specialist cladding, replacing the outdated half height screens with full height glass screen, drop down shower seat, safe-tread flooring and a new electric shower.
Once the work was scheduled, the customer also asked Affect Ability to continue work on the remainder of the bathroom area to match the design standards and compliment the whole wet room shower project.
We began by changing the colour of the safe-tread flooring to a more neutral colour creating a feeling of a more open space throughout. We subsequently replaced the sink with a white gloss vanity unit, sink and monbloc tap, new mirror cabinet and a chrome towel radiator.
It was additionally essential that the majority of all the existing pipe work was concealed together with a new extractor fan, and switches.
We provided the client with daily progress reports to enable them to be kept up to date on the works being carried out. The entire project was completed in just 7 working days.
All waste was removed and disposed of professionally and all electrical works are covered by an electrical certificate together with our 1 years full warranty on all works carried out.
